Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Skid Builder in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on safe operation of pallet manufacturing tools to meet demand, on a first shift from 4:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include sorting and stacking pallets, board cutting to length, and maintaining clean work areas. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and basic math/mechanical skills, plus the ability to lift 30

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 1 year involved with wood manufacturing processes.
• Familiar with wood building concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Skid Builder Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Skid Builder. This position will operate all pallet manufacturing facility tools and equipment in a safe manner while keeping up with pallet demand. This will be a first shift position from 4:00am to 2:30pm Monday thru Thursday over time as required.

What you will be doing

• Sort and stack pallets according to department requirements.
• Cleanup work area during and at the end of each shift.
• Cut and stack boards to proper length.
• Understanding & usage of the metric system, and tape measure.
• Ability to operate Pneumatic Nail Gun, Forklift and Hand Tools safely.
• Ability to routinely lift 30 pounds.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.

The skills and experience you need

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 1 year involved with wood manufacturing processes.
• Familiar with a variety of wood building concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
