Job summary

Goshen Engineering in North Carolina is seeking a hands-on Skid Assembly Supervisor to lead the Skid Assembly team in Production. You will plan and prioritize work, monitor quality and progress, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Control Wiring to ensure on-time delivery of integrated electrical systems.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will mentor Electrical Assembly Technicians I-III and Leads, reinforce safe practices, maintain records, and drive continuous

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, electrical assembly, or related production environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, and related documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work with production, engineering, quality, materials, and other internal personnel.
• Knowledge of skid assembly, electrical equipment, integrated electrical systems, and quality requirements.
• Strong leadership and employee-development skills with clear direction and accountability.
• Regular on-site presence with physical ability to sit/stand/walk, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate the work of Electrical Assembly Technician I-III and Leads.
• Plan and prioritize skid assembly work based on orders, drawings, and material requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, fit, alignment, and compliance with drawings and work instructions.
• Ensure quality checks and production records are completed; address defects or deviations.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to address material, drawings, changes, and technical issues.
• Track progress, identify delays, and adjust resources as needed to meet delivery goals.
• Provide day-to-day coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff.
• Maintain production and quality records and support continuous improvement.
