Job summary

Goshen Engineering in Eastern North Carolina is seeking a hands-on Switchboard Assembly Supervisor to oversee an assigned Switchboard Assembly team within Production, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-focused assembly of switchboards and integrated electrical systems.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will plan work, monitor progress, coach technicians, maintain records, and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Control Wiring to meet production and delivery goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, electrical assembly, industrial assembly, or related production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings, and use measuring devices and tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and development skills.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• On-site presence required with physical conditions suitable for production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Electrical Assembly Technician I-III and Lead staff.
• Plan and prioritize switchboard assembly work based on orders and drawings.
• Ensure quality checks and production records are completed.
• Coordinate with Production Management, Engineering, Quality, Materials and other functions to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and workflow; address delays or bottlenecks.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development for technicians.
