Job summary

Mt. Rose Development Company is seeking an entry-level or experienced ski/snowboard instructor to teach lessons to teens and adults in a safe, engaging environment at Mt. Rose.

You will promote safety, build confidence, and adapt instruction to various abilities while delivering outstanding guest service. Responsibilities include lesson planning, assisting ski school operations, and participating in ongoing training. SafeSport certification must be maintained; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach skiing or snowboarding to teens and adults.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with diverse ages and abilities.
• Must pass background check.
• Own skis/board, bindings and boots.

Responsibilities

• Teach ski or snowboard lessons to teens and adults.
• Promote safety, confidence, and progression.
• Adapt lessons to different abilities and learning styles.
• Provide excellent guest service and clear communication.
• Assist with daily operations.
• Participate in training and skill development.
• Maintain SafeSport certification as required.
