Job summary

Mt. Rose - Ski Tahoe is seeking a Children's Ski & Ride School Instructor to teach kids ages 4-12 in a fun, safe environment. You’ll help students gain confidence, develop basics, and foster a lifelong love of snowsports, while joining a high-energy, team-oriented program.

We value new and experienced instructors, offer strong training, ongoing skill development, and opportunities for advancement within the ski school. PSIA/AASI certification support is provided.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check.
• 16+ years of age; 18+ for conveyor operation.
• Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability (green and blue runs).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must provide own alpine skis/board, bindings, and boots.

Responsibilities

• Teach beginner to advanced lessons in a fun, safe, and engaging way.
• Support student safety, comfort, and confidence.
• Communicate with parents and team members professionally.
• Assist with class organization, setup, and daily operations.
• Participate in training and continue skill development.
