Job summary

Beech Mountain Resort is seeking an organized, service-oriented Lessons Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Ski & Ride School Front Desk. This leadership role coordinates lesson sales and reservations, supervises front desk staff, and ensures guest service excellence within the snowsports program.

The role serves as the primary link between guests, instructors, and resort departments, ensuring smooth operation and a welcoming, professional guest experience during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising front desk operations or similar leadership roles.
• Strong guest-service and conflict-resolution skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with reservation systems and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Ski & Ride School Front Desk.
• Ensure efficient guest check-in, lesson registration, and reservation management.
• Monitor daily lesson bookings and staffing to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain records of lesson sales, registrations, waivers, and guest information.
• Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and guest concerns.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate front desk staff.
• Create and manage staff schedules based on business needs.
• Onboard and train new employees; foster a guest-focused environment.
• Coordinate with Rental, Lift Operations, Guest Services and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Support special events, group programs, and holiday operations.
