Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring Ski & Ride School Assistant Managers at Hunter Mountain for the 2026/2027 season. You will supervise ski school operations, design curriculums, schedule coaches, and support instructional programs across alpine and snowboard disciplines.

Eligible candidates bring a minimum high school diploma, plus 1–3 years of instructor experience and supervisory exposure. Excellent English communication and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for communication with guests and staff.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required as minimum.
• PSIA/AASI certification or equivalent is required.
• USSS Level 100 or higher is required for safety and supervision responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily instruction at Ski and Ride School including curriculum development for athletes, scheduling, and assigning coaches across programs.
• Manage terrain needs for the variety of competition programs.
• Assist with administrative duties including hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, and equipment inventory.
• Monitor coach performance and provide feedback and escalation as needed.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies; ensure safety programs are followed.
• Coordinate with management, departments, and third-party groups as needed.
