Job summary

Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl, Inc. is seeking seasonal ski school instructors for the 2026/2027 winter season. In this role you will oversee daily instruction, help curriculum development, and assign coaches within the Ski and Ride School.

You must have 1–3 years of instructor experience and a PSIA/AASI certification, with supervisory experience preferred. The position requires flexibility, including nights, holidays, and weekends, and there is no housing provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Current PSIA/AASI or equivalent certification required.
• USSS Level 100 or higher.
• 1–3 years ski/snowboard instructor experience and 1 year supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily instruction at Ski and Ride School including curriculum development for athletes, scheduling, and assigning coaches in appropriate groups.
• Manage terrain needs for the variety of competition programs.
• Assist with administrative duties including hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, managing equipment inventory and reporting on guest feedback.
• Monitor and document competition coach performance and behavior to provide feedback and escalation if necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Adhere to all safety related programs including policy training and incident reporting.
• Coordinate with other management, departments, and third-party organizations as needed.
• Participate in leadership forums providing feedback and input on school operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
