Job summary

Heavenly Mountain Resort in South Lake Tahoe, CA seeks an experienced Ski School Assistant Manager for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. You will supervise school operations, coordinate classes, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, PSIA/AASI certification, at least 3 years ski/snowboard instruction, and the ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Current PSIA/AASI or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years ski/snowboard instructor experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Ski School operations including curriculum development, scheduling, and class assignments.
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, and inventory management.
• Monitor instructor performance and provide feedback, recognition, or escalation as needed.
• Coordinate with management and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
