Job summary

Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY is hiring Ski School Support Staff for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Roles involve supporting all functions of ski/snowboard school operations outside of instruction, with high guest interaction and involvement in children's programs and rental operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, service-based environment.
• Fluency in all aspects of English.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication with guests and employees.
• Strong computer skills, typing and data entry preferred.
• Early childhood care experience preferred.
• Ski or snowboard experience to assist lessons preferred.
• Background check requirements completed successfully.

Responsibilities

• Process daily reservations and sales on resort systems.
• Set up and teardown of indoor facilities daily.
• Ensure health code compliance and cleanliness of facilities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly guest-facing environment.
• Engage with small children with appropriate games and activities.
• Enforce helmet policy during lessons and activities.
• Lead safety standards and promote a health and safety culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
