Job summary

Arapahoe Basin is seeking a Ski & Ride School Operations Supervisor in Colorado to bridge business goals with on-snow excellence. You will work with the leadership team to foster authenticity and a culture of excellence, ensuring every day in the Ski & Ride School is memorable.

You will lead the staff, schedule operations, coach instructors, and drive guest satisfaction while supporting the resort’s vision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of snowsports instruction experience.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Proficient with RTP and Flaik scheduling software.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must provide ski or snowboard equipment for outdoor work.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 25+ pros and 60+ staff to meet daily goals.
• Schedule staff to align with business volumes.
• Coach and evaluate instructors.
• Develop opportunities to enhance guest experience.
• Lead a guest-centered culture aligned with company vision.
• Recruit, hire, and train department staff.
• Conduct instructor observations and provide feedback.
• Schedule private and group lessons and improve efficiency.
• Follow sustainability guidelines.
