Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA is seeking a punctual, detail‑oriented Retail Associate to assist guests across our merchandise outlets. You will help with product selection, answer questions, restock items, and maintain attractive, organized displays throughout the property.

The role rewards strong guest service, teamwork, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. Morning and weekend availability is preferred; 18+ age required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Morning availability strongly preferred.
• Weekend availability also preferred.
• Ability to open or close during weekdays.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Passion for retail and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with each guest with greeting, sales approach and farewell as they enter and exit the retail outlet.
• Assists guests in our retail outlets with questions, item selection, and product recommendations of soft goods, hard goods, apparel, and accessories.
• Restocks equipment, supplies, and inventory as needed.
• Assists Manager, Assistant Manager and supervisors with merchandising of retail areas and displays.
• Follow opening and closing procedures to prepare the store for the business day, including merchandising presentation, cleanliness, lighting and dressing rooms.
• Tag and stock newly received items quickly and accurately.
• Attend staff meetings as required.
