Job summary

White Pass is seeking a Parking and Transportation Manager to lead the ski area’s parking and shuttle operations, hire and supervise attendants and drivers, plan routes, and ensure safe, efficient movement from highway to lodge.

Coordinate with Facilities, Guest Services, and outside agencies; manage budgets; maintain safety programs and adapt staffing for peak periods. A valid driver’s license and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in parking, transportation, traffic control, or related guest-facing operation.
• Experience managing shuttle fleets, including scheduling and driver oversight.
• Ability to hire, train, schedule, and lead a seasonal team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage all parking and transportation operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise the Parking Attendants and shuttle drivers.
• Coach, motivate, and develop staff with regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Oversee employee shuttle routes, schedules, and ridership to ensure on-time staff arrivals.
• Coordinate guest shuttles between lots and base area, adjusting frequency to match demand.
• Ensure vehicles are inspected and drivers are licensed and trained to standards.
• Develop and maintain parking and traffic plans to maximize capacity and safety.
• Prepare and manage department budget and track performance against goals.
• Monitor conditions and adjust staffing, lot assignments, and shuttle service in real time.
• Coordinate with Mountain Ops, Guest Services, HR, and other departments; liaise with outside agencies.
