Job summary

Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort in Pinecrest, CA is seeking a Food Service Assistant to maintain Creekside Cafe, assist kitchen staff, and ensure supplies are replenished for smooth service.

You will work under Food & Beverage leadership, buss tables, wash dishes, and help guests with menu knowledge in a busy resort dining setting. A California Food Handlers Card is preferred; safety and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Good physical condition, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be well groomed and present a good public image.
• Good manual and physical dexterity skills.
• Safety oriented with risk awareness.
• Good organizational skills and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Keep Creekside Cafe clean and neat; bussing tables and clearing trays.
• Wash dishes and return items to proper stations.
• Be pleasant and helpful to customers; know the food and services offered.
• Keep the dish room clean; manage garbage and floors.
• Practice safe food handling and cleaning procedures.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Follow departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Care for kitchen and food service equipment properly.
• Obtain and maintain a California Food Handlers Card (ServSafe recommended).
• Additional duties as assigned; cross-training possible.
