Job summary

Dodge Ridge Ski Resort Pinecrest, CA is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor to assist the Guest Services Director in daily operations and deliver a positive guest experience. You will supervise Ticket Sales, Guest Services, and Season Pass activities, while ensuring accurate cash handling and staff training.

The role requires prior resort POS and cash handling experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior resort industry POS, sales and cash handling experience required.
• Excellent organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and maximize time.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to remain calm and tactful under pressure.
• Must perform clerical and administrative duties for the retail department.
• Must be well groomed and present a professional public image.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Train Guest Service staff on POS operation, rules, products, sales techniques, guest service, cash handling and related training requirements.
• Positively assist staff and guests with guest service needs and problem solving.
• Lead staff development focused on sales, voucher accuracy and department knowledge.
• Develop and evaluate Guest Services training, including documentation and methods.
• Coordinate resort-wide Guest Service training with interdepartmental teams.
• Support weekly staff training and safety meetings with the Director.
• Assist with project completion, scheduling, and sales incentive programs.
• Support Snowsports School guest service situations to enhance guest experience.
• Assist Rental Supervisor on their days off to meet operations.
• Collaborate with HR for administrative tasks and ensure proper processes.
• Maintain organized guest files for Season Pass sales and staff programs.
