Job summary

Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation seeks a Season-Patrol Supervisor to oversee the Ski Patrol team this winter. Must hold CPR/OEC/EMT credentials and have 3+ years' patrol experience. Responsibilities include training patrollers, coordinating patrol operations, and ensuring safety standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' Ski Patrol experience with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp or related field.
• Current CPR and OEC/EMT credentials valid.
• Ability to lead ski patrol operations, including Courtesy Patrol.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence in high-pressure situations.
• Strong organizational, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and insurability as required.
• Understand and follow safety policies at all times.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff positively.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights and short-notice shifts.
• Non-union management position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training and coaching paid or volunteer patrollers.
• Serve as primary resource for ski patrol operations.
• Train patrol personnel and collaborate with related departments.
• Lead special team training including conflict resolution.
• Organize operating procedures and schedule team meetings.
• Maintain relationships with managers and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records/inventories; review reports and performance.
• Evaluate patrollers and performance for quality standards.
