Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking a lead Ski Patrol professional to champion safety, training, and exceptional service for guests across all terrain. You will guide paid and volunteer patrollers, coordinate ski patrol operations, and uphold safety policies in a dynamic mountain environment.

The role requires leadership and a calm, proactive approach under pressure, with CPR and EMT credentials, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to Service Excellence

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation Ski Patrol with above-average performance.
• Must be currently certified and able to present valid CPR and OEC/EMT credentials.
• Must be able and willing to lead any area of Ski Patrol Operations.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and excel in Service Excellence.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training and coaching of paid and volunteer patrollers.
• Serve as the primary resource in the execution of ski patrol functions.
• Organize operating procedures at duty stations and schedule team meetings.
• Maintain working relationships with managers and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Keep records and inventories up to date; review reports.
