Job summary

Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, UT is seeking qualified Level I/II Lift Mechanics to ensure reliable operation of aerial and conveyor lifts. Openings cover inspections, maintenance, and driving safety standards in alpine environments.

Responsibilities include pre-operational checks, adherence to ANSI and Forest Service regulations, and mentoring junior staff while operating in a remote mountain setting. OSHA awareness is required.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• None required / 4 yrs. industry experience preferred.
• NDT Level II, Class 4 & 7 Lift Truck and welding certifications are highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Confidently perform inspections, and maintenance of all ski lift equipment.
• Ensure lifts compliance with ANSI, Forest Service and Manufacture specifications.
• Conduct and document daily pre-operational inspections on assigned lift/lifts prior to 9am.
• Regularly monitor the condition of assigned lifts and react to discrepancies accordingly.
• Assist with skills and safety development of less experienced mechanics
