Job summary

Vail Resorts in Keystone, CO is seeking Winter Seasonal Ski Instructors to teach group and private lessons, delivering exceptional guest service to guests of all ages in a safe, fun learning environment.

Starting wage is $20/hr with opportunities for additional teaching incentives. Roles are winter seasonal for 2026/2027 with full-time and part-time hours; housing is available, and benefits include training and development programs and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be comfortable skiing on groomed blue terrain.
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be comfortable in ski boots for extended periods.
• Placement as an instructor contingent upon completing training and meeting standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.
• Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children.
• Deliver world-class guest service.
• Create a safe and fun learning environment.
• Support all needs of the snow sports school: scanning, running surface lifts, assisting lunch, fitting equipment.
• Provide guest feedback that inspires lifelong skiers.
• Other duties as assigned.
