Job summary

Vail Resorts seeks certified ski and/or snowboard instructors for winter seasonal roles. You will teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages, delivering exceptional service in a safe, fun environment. Strong English communication and a passion for teaching are essential, with weekends/holidays required.

Positions are Winter Seasonal 2026/2027, with a range of hours; housing may be available. Starting wage is $21.00/hr with opportunities to earn more via teaching incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older.
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world class guest service to all guests.
• Create a safe and fun learning environment.
• Support all ski school needs including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment.
• Provide guest feedback that inspires lifelong skiers and riders.
• Other duties as assigned.
