Job summary

Baltimore County Revenue Authority seeks an instructor to teach ISI guidelines from pre-beginner to advanced levels and assist in testing and advancing Learn to Skate participants. The role emphasizes safety, instruction accuracy, and positive public engagement.

Responsibilities include recruiting skaters, enforcing rink policies, maintaining records, and delivering high-quality lessons with weekday and weekend availability. Indoor/outdoor setting, standing and skating required.

Qualifications

• Familiar with ISI and USFSA skating programs.
• PSA membership in good standing is preferred.
• Knowledge of figure skating levels and requirements.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must comply with all COVID mandates and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Instruct lessons according to program guidelines.
• Recruit new skaters and lesson participants.
• Use customer service skills to manage interactions.
• Communicate information to supervisors in writing and verbally.
• Educate the public on safe ice activities.
• Evaluate student placements for instruction.
• Prepare and sign certificates and course records.
• Enforce rink policies and procedures.
• Execute policies professionally and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings.
