Job summary

FACILITY MANAGEMENT CORP is looking for Lead Instructors to assist or instruct groups in skating programs. Responsibilities include demonstrating techniques, ensuring customer safety, and preparing program documents.

This part-time position mainly involves working in afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Compensation depends on experience, with rates from $20 to $32 per hour based on instructor level and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience assisting or teaching skating classes is preferred.
• Applicants must be able to ice skate proficiently.
• Hockey players should have participated in multiple years of formal league play.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses customer service skills to control customer interactions.
• Educates the public to the habits and attitudes of safe ice activities.
• Accurately evaluates placements of students for skating instructions.
• Prepares/completes program documents like attendance, recommendations.
• Enforcement of all rules regarding rink policies and operating procedures.
• Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.
• Responsible for completing all tasks assigned by the Program Supervisor on time.
• Attends scheduled staff meetings.
• Performs any other related or similar duty as assigned.
