Job summary

FMC Ice Sports seeks Junior Instructors to assist lead instructors in Learn to Skate, Learn to Play and Figure Skating programs. Part-time roles with afternoon/evening/weekend hours. You will interact with children and adults, helping with lessons and customer service tasks under supervision.

Candidates should skate proficiently, with ISI Freestyle 3 or USFS Freeskate 3 for advanced roles, and be at least 16 years old. Training and base pay discussed based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting or teaching skating classes preferred.
• Must be able to ice skate proficiently; ISI Freestyle 3 or USFS Freeskate 3 is preferred for advanced players.
• Must be 16 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

• Interact with participants, oversee groups, and support instructors during lessons.
• Educate participants about safe ice activities and rink policies.
• Maintain clean, safe environment for patrons and staff.
• Complete tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Instructor, and attend staff meetings.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
