Job summary

The Rinks is hiring a Skating Instructor to teach group classes and support facility events on-site. The role follows the Learn-to-Skate USA curriculum and requires delivering a safe, engaging learning environment for skaters.

Applicants should be 18+ with figure skating experience, PSA/USFS credentials or membership, and strong customer-service skills; weekend and early morning/evening availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in the sport of figure skating; competitive history, show experience, and/or coaching experience.
• PSA Basic Accreditation or USFS Level 1 Coach Accreditation.
• Learn to Skate USA Instructor Membership or USFS Coach Compliance and Membership.

Responsibilities

• Instruct group classes in various formats, including Learn-to-Skate and other programs.
• Assist in production and promotion of facility shows and competitions.
• Provide positive, constructive feedback when evaluating skaters.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for skaters and guests.
• Communicate program information to guests and support the company’s pursuit of excellence.
