Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in San Diego seeks a Skating Instructor to lead Learn to Skate classes and events. You will teach, assist with registrations, coordinate shows, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding safety and program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Available to teach a minimum of three hours of Learn to Skate classes each week.
• Must wear the Kroc Center uniform while instructing at the Kroc Center.
• Must have proof of liability insurance listing The Salvation Army as additional insured.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must work with children, parents, and staff in a leadership capacity.
• Must be dependable and handle situations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Teach Learn to Skate Program classes, birthday parties, and special events.
• Maintain a professional demeanor with staff and guests.
• Assist in registration and administration of the Learn to Skate Program.
• Submit timely timecards and payroll data sheets.
• Coordinate skating shows and competitions.
• Respond quickly to inquiries about facility programs.
• Ensure guest service and operational efficiency.
• Perform other assignments as directed.
• Guest relations and housekeeping duties.
• Answer phones and provide basic information.
