Job summary

Travelers in California seeks an SIU Investigator to analyze claims for potential fraud and conduct thorough investigations. You will work with claim partners, law enforcement and external resources to uncover fraud.

The role requires strong analytical skills, case management ability and knowledge of insurance operations. Two years of investigative experience or more in related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and relevant investigative experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to uncover fraudulent aspects of a claim.
• Analyze and summarize technical information into actionable strategies.
• Maintain contact with partners, customers and resources throughout investigations.
• Serve as fraud subject-matter expert to partners.
• Apply rules of evidence and determine evidentiary value.
• Ensure investigations comply with Local, State and Federal law.
• Identify cases for potential fraud prosecution and refer to NICB.
• Adapt to new technologies and AI tools while maintaining productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
