Job summary

Capital Insurance Group seeks an SIU Investigator to examine suspicious claims, identify potential fraud, and build well-documented cases for outcomes and possible prosecution. The role includes training and supporting claims staff, with statement taking and other investigative tasks as needed.

You will collaborate with SIU Manager on annual training, onboarding, and compliance, leveraging your experience to strengthen red-flag identification and investigation strategies across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of insurance or investigative experience.
• Must have excellent communications skills to express ideas and interview parties.
• Must maintain a valid Driver License and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Professional designation and certifications (AIC, CPCU, NCFIA, SCFIA, IASIU, etc.) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Investigate suspicious claims and develop well-documented cases.
• Provide training and support to claims staff on investigation strategies.
• Involve in statement taking and other investigative activities as warranted.
• Coordinate with SIU Manager on annual training, onboarding and compliance.
