Required Qualifications:
- BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 yrs of experience.
- DoD TS/SCI clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
- At least 2 years of relevant IT experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft operating platforms and office applications
Highly Desired Qualification:
- Compliance with DoW 8140 under the Work Role Code 441 - Intermediate level or higher. Must be completed by 01Oct26.
Peraton requires UC Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, HIThe purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
- Administers the operation of all SOCOM Unified Communications systems and services according to Government policies and procedures.
- Coordinates and implements UC software and hardware upgrades.
- Troubleshoots and resolves UC performance, connectivity, and related UC problems.
- Administers UC security, antivirus, and spam control measures.
- Uses a variety of tools to monitor and troubleshoot the network.
- Works independently and provides administration of UC systems.
- Creates monitoring reports and logs and ensures the functionality of UC systems.
- Documents and maintains UC topologies.
- Resolves ticket requests, works to resolve incidents, and escalates to the engineering team when required.
- Adds Office 365 users and assign licenses (manually or by using automated tools such as PowerShell scripts).
- Configures settings and policies for Office 365, such as managing USSOCOM's security, compliance, and productivity. These settings include password policies, email protection, device management, and more.
- Maintains the setup of email and other services (such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams) to meet your USSOCOM's needs and enable collaboration and communication.
- Monitors Office 365 and Cisco Jabber usage and troubleshoot issues that arise. This can involve monitoring service health, analyzing usage reports, and responding to user feedback and support requests.
- Stays up to date with Office 365 and Cisco Jabber updates and new features and evaluate how they may impact USSOCOM.
- Manages configuration settings for USSOCOM's use and set up of Cisco Jabber, including installing the software/updates, configuring settings, and connecting to USSOCOM's server(s).
- Adds and manage users: to Cisco Jabber and manage their access and settings, such as creating user accounts, assigning roles, and configuring user settings.
- Configures chat and calling features for Cisco Jabber to meet USSOCOM's needs. This involves setting up chat rooms, configuring audio and video settings, and setting up call forwarding and voicemail.
- Manages Cisco Jabber contacts and groups to enable collaboration and communication. This involves creating contact lists, adding contacts, and setting up groups.
