Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Administrator – Mobility to support the SITEC-3 contract at Camp Smith, HI. The role focuses on provisioning, managing, and securing mobile devices (iOS, Android, BlackBerry) for SOF and government users, under DoD policies and STIGs.

The candidate must hold a TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II certification, with experience in device configuration, asset management, and end-user support across multiple networks and platforms.

Qualifications

  • BS + 2 years of experience, or HS with 6 years, or AA with 4 years.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of iPhone, Samsung, and BlackBerry devices including iOS and Android.
  • Current TS/SCI Clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provisions, manages, maintains, and tracks end user mobile computing devices authorized and assigned to individual personnel for secure and non-secure communications.
  • Configures and maintains mobile computing devices and associated auxiliary devices as directed by the Government and in accordance with applicable DoD Cybersecurity policies, procedures, regulations, and directives.
  • Baselines and maintains end user mobile computing device configurations, including STIGs, and maintains configuration control and policy management of devices.
  • Assists the Government to draft mobile computing policies and procedures, implement and integrate new mobile computing services and technologies, and troubleshoot, repair, and provide logistical support for existing mobile devices.
  • Interfaces directly with customers to provide training and to resolve issues related to services.
  • Maintains mobile computing device utilization history, including a review of device and service usage, audits, and reconciliation of utilization.
  • Coordinates and manages accountability of new equipment, replacement equipment, and upgrades, and tracks the disposition of equipment throughout its lifecycle.
  • This role will directly oversee day-to-day operations supporting campus SIPR kits and phones.

Peraton requires Systems Administrators – Mobility to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3.This positionis located at Camp Smith, HI.The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, andultimately theend-user whooperatearound the globe 24x7x365.

The Mobile Device Support Specialist will support applications on mobile devices for a broad spectrum of mobile operating systems (i.e.Apple iOS, Android OS,BlackBerryor others asrequired). The Mobile Device Support Specialist shall plan, engineer, coordinate, and manage equipment installations on multiple impact levels and networksin order toconnect highly mobile and capable SOF professionals to the information they need.
