Job summary

Peraton seeks UC Administrators to support the SITEC contract for USSOCOM, providing end-to-end UC services, NetOps, and end-user support. Located at Camp H.M. Smith, HI, the role focuses on maintaining UC systems, licenses, and configurations to ensure secure communications.

The ideal candidate has DoD TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II certification, and 2+ years of IT experience, with strong proficiency in Microsoft platforms and Office 365.

Qualifications

• BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 yrs of experience.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft operating platforms and office applications.
• DoW 8140 compliance desired (not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Administers the operation of SOCOM Unified Communications systems and services per Government policies.
• Coordinates UC software/hardware upgrades.
• Troubleshoots UC performance and connectivity problems.
• Manages UC security, antivirus, and spam controls.
• Uses tools to monitor and troubleshoot the network.
• Creates monitoring reports and logs for UC systems.
• Documents and maintains UC topologies.
• Resolves tickets and escalates to engineering as needed.
• Configures Office 365 settings and licenses for USSOCOM.
• Maintains Exchange Online/SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams services to support collaboration.
• Monitors Office 365 and Jabber usage and addresses issues.
• Configures Cisco Jabber within USSOCOM environment.
• Sets up user accounts, roles, and access for Cisco Jabber.
