Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. seeks a Site Work Foreman for the Middle Tennessee Construction division in the greater Gallatin, TN area.

The role provides planning, supervision, and documentation for grading activities and utility installations, with emphasis on safety, scheduling, and field leadership. Responsibilities include training crews, coordinating with surveyors/engineers, and ensuring quality workmanship while maintaining compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience in grading operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coach, and model safety procedures at all times.
• Lead safety, scheduling, workforce planning, and cost control with SSC policies.
• Supervise field crews in site, road, and subdivision construction including excavation and utility installation.
• Perform field layout, coordinate with surveyors and engineers, and inspect sequencing of works.
• Ensure safety compliance; conduct daily safety meetings and complete JSAs as required.
• Monitor crew competency and provide guidance and resolutions for issues.
• Manage equipment usage and maintenance; coordinate with mechanics and vendors.
• Record employee hours and equipment time for project tracking.
