Job summary

Eaton seeks a Lead of Training & Development to lead the site training strategy, ensuring consistent standards and alignment with the people development plan. The role oversees analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of training programs to boost organizational and individual effectiveness.

The position requires expertise in instructional design, OJT, and collaboration with HR, Operations, Quality, EHS and CI to address learning needs across the employee life cycle,

Qualifications

• Expertise in instructional design and On the Job Training (OJT) methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to production, technical services and quality personnel in development/ modifications to operators certifications and cross training processes.
• Ensure all on the job training materials and certification documentation are in compliance and accurate for all employees and/or processes.
• Conduct needs assessment studies to identify training programs and address organizational issues through learning and development.
• Recommends instructional methods including individual training, group instructions, demonstrations, and workshops.
• Selects or develops training aids such as handbooks, operating guides, visual aids, and tutorials.
• Designs and implements content and curricula blending eLearning and Instructor-led strategies.
