Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Timekeeper to manage timekeeping and craft payroll for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. The role supports labor relations, onboarding, attendance verification, and reporting, with overtime and weekend work expected.

The site may require occasional travel to Houston Home Office. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and solid proficiency with MS Office and timekeeping systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in a related field.
• 1-2 years of timekeeping/payroll experience or 4-5 years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Labor Relations to input payroll information for Craft Professionals.
• Perform data entry for new hires, terminations, rate changes, etc.
• Onboard project new hires and badge site personnel.
• Verify daily craft attendance using the eTrack timekeeping system.
• Review and balance daily time records for craft employees.
• Maintain badges and time clock systems; troubleshoot as needed.
• Create and distribute daily/weekly reports (force report, infractions, timesheets).
• Process time-off requests and daily call-ins; manage craft files.
• Support project supervision with timesheet maintenance and payroll distribution.
