GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Technology Analyst for the Marietta site to plan, coordinate, deliver, and govern technology services across site infrastructure, end-user tech, cloud platforms, and manufacturing environments.

The role links Site Technology with Product teams, Delivery Leads, and external vendors, ensuring projects meet site outcomes aligned with Smart Manufacturing and S/4 ambitions. Strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing Systems, or related technical discipline.
8+ years of experience delivering technology outcomes in manufacturing or another complex operational environment.
Experience translating strategies and roadmaps into implemented solutions and measurable site outcomes.
A proactive and accountable approach, with experience addressing barriers and following work through to completion.
Experience influencing senior leaders and collaborating with diverse global or matrixed teams to align priorities and achieve shared goals.
Experience organizing complex work and establishing repeatable processes, governance, and clear accountability.
Experience delivering technology projects and operational solutions across infrastructure, applications, data, automation, or smart manufacturing.
Experience leading through major incidents, ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex operational constraints.
Experience managing technology risk, compliance, business continuity, lifecycle, audit, and inspection-readiness requirements.* Experience connecting business needs with practical technology solutions and clearly communicating impacts, options, and decisions
Curiosity and a willingness to learn, with experience moving from understanding a problem to delivering a sustainable solution.

Responsabilités

Deliver on site Tech roadmap projects, leveraging governance mechanisms and coordinating cross-functional teams to translate plans into releases.
Help Site Tech lead manage local deployment, rollout, continuity and operational support of global applications and infrastructure.
Help Site Forward Deployment Engineer with continuous improvement and digital data & analytics initiatives by co-designing and implementing paperless and data-driven solutions.
Lead structured problem solving for major incidents and recurring service issues, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving corrective actions.
Manage IT risk, security, continuity and compliance with global IT standards for site technologies.
Provide audit and inspection support, overseeing external IT and infra resources, ensuring transparency and alignment with policies.
In coordination with the Resilient Ops team, support lifecycle management of technology assets and services.
Maintain governance and data quality for technology assets and services, including ServiceNow, CMDB, inventory, ownership, and audit records.
