Job summary

The YMCA of San Diego is seeking a Site Supervisor for Expanded Learning Programs to lead and mentor staff, manage daily operations, and ensure safety and compliance on-site. You will collaborate with school partners, families, and district staff to deliver high-quality activities that promote academic achievement, healthy choices, and positive youth development.

This in-person role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to recruit and engage youth participants

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma/GED.
• Two years experience in child and youth development, education, or comparable setting required.
• Strong leadership, communication and supervision skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site management, staff and student supervision, and program compliance.
• Supervise program staff and participants to ensure safety and guidance at all times.
• Recruit and market the program to maximize capacity and participation.
• Provide positive behavior guidance supporting development, social-emotional and academic needs.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and district partners to align academic activities and services.
• Manage administrative duties including budget, attendance, and staff development.
• Oversee daily program operations and site setup/closure.
• Ensure facilities are safe, organized and well-maintained.
