Job summary

The YMCA of Greater New York is hiring a data management lead to supervise and coordinate data in multiple systems across 24 branches in Brooklyn. You will ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and compliance with funder requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of supervisory and data management experience. CPR/AED and food handling certifications are preferred, with MOD training within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data management, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience with data management and administration.
• Ability to work in a team and build positive relationships with participants and partners.
• CPR/AED certifications.
• F80 and Food handling certifications.
• Complete MOD training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage emergency situations following Association procedures.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director, Senior Program Director, and Building Manager as needed.
• Conduct security checks every 45 minutes.
• Supervise staff per YMCA policies and best practices.
• Fill incident reports during shifts.
• Oversee community programs, food, fitness instructors, and memberships.
• Coordinate reporting with the Board of Managers.
• Work on AS400 entry and related database files.
• Notify leadership of unusual occurrences during shifts.
• Submit MOD reports within 24 hours of shift.
• Maintain and enter data in databases for internal and funder reports.
• Track participant data, program outcomes, and data quality.
• Organize data collection policies and methods.
• Train team members on policies and methods.
