Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Site Supervisor for Jefferson City, MO. This role supervises Security Officers across one or more client posts, ensures post orders are followed, and that rounds and reports are completed accurately.

You will coach staff, train officers, and ensure adequate coverage, while coordinating with client representatives to meet security requirements and deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Supervisor experience required.
• Security experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in a guard shack.

• Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignments.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities to subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.

Site Supervisor - Full Time

Primary Location: Jefferson City, MO Wage: $19.50/HR 1st & 2nd Shift

The Site Supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.
