Job summary

Tricon Homes is seeking a Superintendent to oversee rehab and turn projects for vacant homes within a designated portfolio. You will manage schedules, lead both in-house technicians and external vendors, and ensure quality control to meet Tricon standards.

Responsibilities include creating project plans, resolving issues, maintaining records, and reporting progress to senior management. This role emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and a results-driven approach to housing renewal initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple rehab/turn projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across teams and vendors.
• Proactive problem solver with a collaborative mindset.
• Experience building and guiding teams, with mentoring capabilities.
• Knowledge of construction processes and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and manage project plans and schedules for rehabilitation and turn work.
• Anticipate and resolve project issues and schedule difficulties, escalating when necessary.
• Direct and oversee the work performed by in-house technicians and external vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of all rehabilitation and turn projects.
• Report project status to Senior Supervisor and participate in weekly status meetings.
• Develop scope of work project plans for rehabilitation projects and for turns.
• Mentor and develop direct reports; uphold company values and integrity.
• Conduct quality control inspections on field work and ensure adherence to standards.
• Complete initial close out for all turn and rehabilitation projects meeting Tricon quality standards.
