Actalent is seeking an experienced Superintendent for a Lebanon, Indiana site on a large civil construction project. The role focuses on grading, excavation, underground utilities, and multi-phase site development, with responsibility for productivity and adherence to plans and safety standards.

The position is on-site, contract-based, with pay ranging $50.00–$70.00 per hour. Opportunity to lead diverse crews and coordinate heavy equipment in a landmark data center infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years supervising civil construction, site development, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating grading, excavation, mass earthwork, and underground utilities.
• Ability to lead multiple crews, foremen, operators, laborers, and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven focus on safety, quality, and maintaining production schedules.
• Strong ability to interpret project plans, specs, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise grading, excavation, underground utility, and site development operations from planning through completion.
• Coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet production and schedule targets.
• Plan site layout, utility installation, testing, inspections, and project turnover requirements.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specs, and quality standards.
• Enforce OSHA-aligned safety practices and site protocols.
• Lead and mentor multiple crews in a fast-paced setting.
