Job Details
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and lead a diverse team of construction workers and subcontractors, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs, ensuring all work meets or exceeds the standards set by the company and industry regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, providing guidance and clarification as needed.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during construction.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring all site personnel are trained in and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Manage and maintain construction documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, with a strong emphasis on multifamily and commercial projects.
  • Proven experience in site supervision, quality control, safety management, blueprint reading, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with construction software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality control practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Certificate or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is highly desirable.
