Job summary

Trueline seeks an experienced Site Superintendent to lead commercial renovation and new construction projects across Wisconsin, beginning in Green Bay. You’ll own the Green Bay jobsite on a 24,000-square-foot renovation for a national brand, with Milwaukee and Madison projects planned as the program grows.

This direct-hire role offers roughly 10–12 months of work across two projects, with pay up to $120,000 per year plus benefits and a strong path to long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
• Experience renovations of existing commercial buildings (structural openings, concrete cutting).
• Site work including paving, stormwater, and utilities.
• Proven ability to manage and hold subcontractors accountable.
• Strong scheduling and daily reporting skills.
• Willingness to start in Green Bay and travel to Milwaukee/Madison.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project manager on permits, inspections, and owner requirements.
• Ensure work meets the national brand standards.
• Progress to upcoming projects as the program grows.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to run commercial renovation and new construction projects across Wisconsin, starting in Green Bay. You'll own the jobsite on a 24,000-square-foot commercial renovation for a national brand, with a second project lined up in Milwaukee and more planned with the same developer.

This is a direct-hire role with roughly 10-12 months of work lined up across two projects and a developer partner planning two to four similar projects a year. For the right superintendent, that means a real path to a long-term role, with pay of up to $120,000 a year plus benefits.

What You'll Do as the Site Superintendent:

• Run day-to-day jobsite operations as the on-site superintendent, starting with a 24,000-square-foot renovation in Green Bay
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, holding every trade accountable for schedule, quality, and safety
• Manage and update the project schedule as conditions change and delays come up
• Complete daily reports and keep accurate jobsite documentation
• Lead jobsite meetings and keep the project manager and owner informed
• Oversee structural and interior scopes, including cutting new garage door openings into CMU walls, relocating an entrance, concrete cutting, pit excavation, and trenching for plumbing lines
• Manage site work, including parking lot improvements, a stormwater retention pond, green space, and new light pole bases
• Partner with the full-time project manager on permits, inspections, and owner requirements
• Make sure all work meets the national brand's standards
• Move on to upcoming projects in Milwaukee and the Madison area as the program grows

Must-Haves as the Site Superintendent:

• 10+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent (strong candidates with 7-8 years will be considered)
• Experience running renovations of existing commercial buildings, including structural openings, concrete cutting, and underground work
• Site work experience, including paving, stormwater, and site utilities
• Proven ability to manage and hold subcontractors accountable
• Strong scheduling, daily reporting, and jobsite documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite in Green Bay starting in mid-October, and to travel to upcoming projects in Milwaukee and the Madison area
• Comfort starting with a defined project pipeline that has strong potential to become a long-term role

Nice-to-Haves as the Site Superintendent:

• National retail, automotive, or multi-site rollout program experience
• Ground-up commercial new construction experience
• Familiarity with Wisconsin commercial permitting and inspections
• Experience working for a smaller, owner-led contractor
