Job summary

Henis Group is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead exterior renovation and site improvement projects in Milwaukee. You will oversee on-site activities, manage railing, fencing, and SRW replacement, and coordinate demolition, excavation, and concrete sequencing on an active site.

The role requires 5+ years with a commercial GC, strong leadership and safety mindset, and proficiency with Procore and MS Project. OSHA 10 is required; degree in Construction Management is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor (on-site Superintendent experience required).
• Experience with exterior renovation, site work, concrete, or civil-related scopes strongly preferred.
• Background in multifamily or occupied project environments is a plus.
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities for exterior renovation and site work.
• Manage execution of railings, fencing, and retaining wall (SRW) replacement scopes.
• Coordinate selective demolition, excavation, concrete footings, fabrication, and installation sequencing.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Assist in developing project schedules and enforce 3-week lookahead planning.
• Monitor progress and provide consistent updates to internal and client stakeholders.
• Lead and facilitate weekly subcontractor/trade meetings.
• Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and jobsite safety protocols, especially in active/occupied environments.
• Oversee material procurement, delivery coordination, and vendor management.
• Ensure all permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are met and maintained.
• Manage site cleanliness, documentation, and overall jobsite organization.

About the Opportunity

Our client, a nationally recognized design/build General Contractor, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site execution of a multifamily exterior renovation and site improvement project in Milwaukee.

This role is focused on a large-scale exterior scope including railing systems, fencing, and segmental retaining wall (SRW) replacement across an active, occupied property. The project involves phased execution across multiple sections of the site, requiring strong coordination, safety awareness, and day-to-day field leadership.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a Superintendent who thrives in fast-paced, detail-driven environments and takes ownership of delivering high-quality work safely and on schedule.

What We're Looking For
