Avantor’s Hillsboro site is seeking a Site Operations Leader to oversee day-to-day delivery at the lab and production services interface. You will supervise teams, drive safety and quality, and partner with clients and vendors to meet service level agreements.

You will analyze operational data, design workflow improvements, and lead weekly reviews. A background in laboratory services, logistics, or inventory management with 5+ years of supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Higher Education degree in supply chain, business, or life sciences preferred
• Experience: 5+ years in laboratory services, warehouse, logistics, or inventory management; 2+ years in supervisory roles with direct reports
• Proficiency with inventory management systems (SAP, Workday, LIMS or equivalent) including reporting/analytics
• Intermediate Excel with pivot tables, lookups and data analysis; Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred
• Able to analyze operational data and communicate findings to non-technical audiences

Responsabilités

• Own day-to-day operational delivery for the site or function; manage scheduling and prioritization
• Monitor real-time dashboards and reallocate resources to meet service levels
• Lead daily huddles and weekly reviews with client contacts and teams
• Design and pilot workflow changes; document and institutionalize improvements
• Lead site-level continuous improvement projects using structured problem-solving methods
• Manage hiring, performance reviews and development for direct reports
• Coordinate vendor and third-party logistics activities on-site
• Maintain site safety, quality, compliance and training records
• Support budget planning and cost control at site level
• Prepare weekly/monthly operational reports for leadership
