Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Assistant Site Manager to oversee all supervisory, training, and operations functions at the assigned customer site, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to post orders and client instructions.

The role emphasizes leadership of Security Professionals and Shift Supervisors, development of staff, and maintaining compliance with company policies. A strong background in security, proven management ability, and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license (if driving a company vehicle).
• Minimum of three years of professional-level security experience, preferably in a supervisory/management role.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Ensure execution of all operational aspects of the security contract at the assigned location; supervise and direct work of Supervisors and Security Professionals.
• Act as the primary management contact for shift supervisors and security staff regarding performance and operations; motivate, coach, train, and evaluate.
• Select and place direct reports; design and implement career development and productivity plans.
• Maintain and update post orders and operating procedures; ensure guidance and directives are followed.
• Conduct interviews and onboard new employees; provide on-the-job training coordinated with shift supervisors.
• Oversee security reports, logs, and communications; ensure timely and accurate distribution to leadership.
• Supervise sub-units (e.g., fire control room, command center, loading docks); generate extra coverage work orders as needed.
• Respond to client/site emergencies; ensure proper notification and actions.
• Maintain positive client relationships through regular contact and support.
• Ensure security office is organized and professional; may perform guard duties up to 50% of time.
