Job summary

Garney is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the Safety Manager in administering site safety training, maintaining documentation, and assisting with inspections and compliance on Georgia projects.

The role requires OSHA 30, willingness to work on site five days, travel for visits and training, strong communication, problem-solving, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

OSHA 30 certification is required.
Degree in safety or construction-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support project and regional safety efforts.
Assist with safety training and maintain jobsite safety binders and documentation.
Conduct jobsite safety inspections.
Coordinate with field supervisors on equipment and PPE needs.
Ensure proper project and safety signage is in place.
Review safety results and company safety documents.
Lead toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.
