Job summary

Landmark Properties, Inc. is seeking a Site Safety Manager to enforce safe work practices on active construction sites, lead inspections, train site teams on safety protocols, and investigate incidents to prevent recurrences.

You will travel to project locations, coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors, and maintain safety records to ensure OSHA compliance and continuous site safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of construction safety on active sites.
• Associate degree in safety/related field preferred.
• 2+ years in construction safety or related field.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Safe Work Practices: ensure workers and subcontractors follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with site teams to anticipate and manage site conditions for accident prevention.
• Conduct Safety Inspections: perform regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Recommend Improvements: identify areas for corrective actions with site supervisors.
• Deliver Safety Training: provide ongoing training and toolbox talks focusing on high-risk activities.
• Lead Investigations: investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; document findings.
• Monitor Compliance: ensure OSHA regulations and company safety policies are followed.
• Maintain records: keep up-to-date safety inspection, incident, and training logs.
• Assist in Emergency Preparedness: help coordinate emergency drills and site readiness.
