Job summary

Day & Zimmermann’s Eunice, NM site is seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead day-to-day safety performance on-site. You will partner with site leadership to ensure safety is visible in daily behaviors and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include coaching, trend analysis, incident investigations, audits, and case management of injuries, with active participation in the client's CAP. OSHA 510/511 or safety degree and BCSP certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree in safety or related field preferred; may include 5+ years of practical experience
• OSHA 510/511 or degree in safety required or preferred
• Professional certifications from BCSP or similar highly desirable
• Experience in industrial and construction settings with focus on Process Safety Management
• Ability to complete all screening, training and testing for site access

Responsibilities

• Promote field coaching and observations on safety standards and behaviors
• Employ trend analysis to understand drivers of performance
• Manage safety planning to ensure compliance and lessons learned are incorporated
• Lead incident investigations and communicate lessons learned
• Conduct internal and customer safety audits and ensure compliance
• Provide case management for all injuries to ensure proper care and proactive outcomes
• Serve as liaison with internal and external clients on safety programs and performance
• Partner with Operations on topics like fall protection, confined space, industrial hygiene, equipment operations, hot work
• Actively participate in the client's Corrective Action Program (CAP)
