MPS Group Inc. seeks a Safety Manager to lead the safety program at the Ford Rouge Complex in Dearborn, MI. You will implement and enforce corporate health and safety policies, train staff, and drive proactive risk reduction across operations.

You will perform audits, develop safety plans, mentor workers, and ensure compliance with SSOSP and related regulations. Strong communication, incident investigation, and coordination with site leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of occupational health and safety experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screening, respirator clearance, and physical abilities test.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain site safety plans and SSOSP.
• Deliver corporate health and safety training to new hires and recurrent trainings.
• Validate training with Safety Observation Tours and competency checks.
• Develop and deliver job-specific safety training as required.
• Mentor employees on safety requirements, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain Task Instruction Sheets (TIS).
• Conduct site safety briefings and management/field staff meetings.
• Perform audits to identify hazardous conditions and ensure compliance with SSOSP and TIS.
