Job summary

Exp Federal is seeking a Site Safety Health Officer to join our Norco team. You will develop and implement safety policies, deliver OSHA and DoD training, and help reduce safety liabilities across projects.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a safety-related field, 7+ years of risk management, EM 385-1-1 knowledge, and CSP/ARM certification; willingness to travel and proactive communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related safety/risk field.
• 7+ years of risk management or safety experience.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirements Manual.
• Certifications such as CSP or ARM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and initiate policies and procedures ensuring safety/health measures are implemented and maintained.
• Prepare and conduct training programs related to OSHA and DoD regulations.
• Read and comprehend risk management information and assist departments in applying it to reduce safety liability.
• Review and analyze accidents and investigations; coordinate corrective actions with departments.
• Attend safety meetings and present safety topics; implement safety/risk prevention training.
• Inspect buildings, facilities and operations to identify and minimize safety/health risks.
• Conduct worksite inspections and training to ensure proper environmental practices.
• Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with OSHA/DoD regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
