Progressive is seeking a Site Safety Manager for the Greater Baltimore area to lead safety initiatives on construction sites and ensure strict regulatory compliance. You will foster a proactive safety culture, coordinate inspections, investigations, and training, and manage safety documentation across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry, OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500, and NFPA 70E.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, county, and local safety regulations.
• Ability to conduct inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent training and written communication skills for all employees and stakeholders.
• Experience managing safety documentation, audits, and compliance records.
• Ability to identify hazards and repair electrical equipment defects.
• Proficient with safety databases, reporting software, and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license for site-to-site travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety initiatives and program improvements across construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA 70E, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections, investigations, and root-cause analysis.
• Deliver effective safety training and produce clear safety materials.
• Maintain accurate safety records, audits, and documentation.
